Mistletoe's Musings

Oooh ick. I am just coming into focus after a migraine. And it struck without warning. One minute I'm OK; the next: stabbing pain in right eye area. Fortunately it happened right at the end of work so I came straight home and lay down. Three hours later, I woke up, had two Paracetamol Plus and made something to eat. Now I just feel slightly nauseous and tired in a washed out way. Urgh indeed.

Elsewhere Sats are looming in two weeks and I would like to kill year 9 NOW! They are probably the cause of the migraine. We've offered booster classes to level 5s who should be level 6. Half of them said they couldn't because they were cooking!!!!!
For God's sake where are their priorities? Here are the English staff driving themselves into the ground and there are Year 9 not bringing a pen and not knowing what their target level is. Grrrr. And they're a top set. Not next year they're not. Little gits. OK rant over.


I have got my meta on Angel's curse sorted out in my head. While I was on holiday it suddenly coalesced into a theory of the soul's whereabouts while Angelus was in charge, before it was restored. Well it makes sense to me. Now all I have to do is write it up.
