Weather forecast is for heavy snow and winds producing drifts overnight. The kids got a letter about bad weather arrangements today. Considering people have been driving around on tiptoe already this week thanks to black ice and ignorance about how to drive safely in hazardous conditions, I shall be walking to work if we do get the predicted 6-8 inches,

We had a similar forecast last year and as I remember we got two inches.

I'm always disappointed.

Well that was a thrill. I seem to be obsessed with well nothing much really. 
I haven't defected from lj after all. The goal Stokes scored was against Derby County, only in a different division. How small my world is. Next year I must go for more inventive first lines of the month!

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! Last week I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In August on a flight to Vancouver, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Monday I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). Last Sunday girlpire and I robbed a bank (-50 points). In April I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-76 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking! Sincerely, mistletoe54
