Panther over the Clair de Lune

I'm waiting for certain things to update themselves so here are the skating results. The German couple skated to The Pink Panther music, she in a bright neon pink body suit and were stupendous. The Russians danced to Clair de Lune and were beautiful. That Tamaguchi has superb poise managing to land a couple of triples where many would have fallen. The Germans won and regained their title. The British couple lying 7th had one fall and then right near the end of the programme his blade just stuck in the ice and he fell. Unfortunately he had his partner in a lift at the time so she came crashing down too. Fortunately, neither was hurt and he was able to pick her up and go into the closing pose, but it was very hairy there for a moment. Apparently she had a pain killing injection before they even skated. They still finished 8th. Tough people these skaters.

Amaryllis update. The second one is really tall and now has two stalks of buds. I'm really excited as I haven't had a two flower Amaryllis for years and certainly not from Aldi (£1.50).

Trying to picture the German skaters and the neon pink body suit but failing. Probably just as well ;) The German skaters always seem to have the most original? interesting? costumes.

Amaryllis don't always have two stalks? Tell me you at least get four flowers on each stalk.

No I was really surprised when you said your 4th one had died off. I'm excited to get two! We must have teeny tiny amaryllis in comparison.

His costume doesn't match. I suppose he's meant to be Inspector Clouseau, hope he wasn't as clumsy as Clouseau usually is ;)

I think he was meant to be the David Niven character, but it was hard to say.
