I like names. I especially like names of sportsmen. Most of the Sunderland players were bought for the outlandish nature of their names. However, baseball, BASEBALL knocks them into a cocked hat. This is such a rich field to exploit that I am going to limit myself to two names today. These two play for the San Francisco Giants who have just seen off the Atlanta Braves in the post season divisional playoffs. Clearly the giant sponge tomahawks were not enough in the face of the these mega names.

First the catcher who looks about 17 and has the delightful name of..... Ta daaaaaaaa

BUSTER POSEY
Perfect start I would say, a little bunch of flowers. They also possess the youngest pitcher to start in post season for many a year. At 21 years old meet the pitcher for the SF Giants

MADISON BUMGARNER

My next concern is why they are fascinated by 80s hairstyles (sic) and why none of the pitchers can grow a proper beard. Pictures to follow.

I knew, as soon as I saw BASEBALL next to PLAYER NAME that you would have to be talking about Buster. Classic Baseball name.

Ha! I was chatting golf with someone last week and we were also intrigued by the name Bubba. I think our equivalent would be, well I don't think we do names like that.

Our soccer captain is called Rio, but it lacks something.
