mistletoeWell, that was different.
I watched The Intern in the Incinerator just before the Norton thing so I was all set for fangirling. It worked.
My computer is running at snail's pace so this took ages to post and I had to switch to Firefox in midstream. Must be all the frost we're having at the moment. 30 degrees F this morning and not much warmer later.
David was on the show with Sharon Osbourne who may be more known in America. She does X Factor. Davina McColl is a British celebrity who presents I'm a Celebrity... Get me Out of Here and Big Brother. Anyway, first off Sharon noticed how big David's feet were. So we had a look. He had shoes with Tower Bridge on the soles, which he had got in America so he could walk on Tower Bridge at any time.
David was then asked about how much he liked to dance, so he showed us his techno style which went down very well. Not a bit like his Angel dancing days.
There was a bit of chat about Bones the usual stuff. You have to remember in Britain it's shown on Sky, a satellite channel and therefore small audiences. However, it led to Graham asking about whether the dead bodies were real people and David pooh poohed it, they were prosthetics and so on. Graham then claimed the one acting gig he had was as a dead body and he had to audition. David sympathised. We then had three members of the audience pretending to be dead bodies. The winner was very convincing.
This was followed by Graham's news slot which featured a photo of Paris Hilton and her dog which she dressed as a reindeer. Sharon was all for it but David, dog lover that he is, did not approve. He mentioned his two dogs and his fear of birds, especially when they get in the house, which he recognised as unlucky. The chickens turned out to be rooster fear - too unpredictable. There was then a website of wigs for cats which David found too bizarre to take seriously although Sharon liked them. This led to an off colour joke - a picture of a woman flashing a la Basic Instinct. David cracked that he had the pic on his Blackberry. After that interest moved over to Sharon and I lost interest and turned over. I may watch the rest in case there was any more of David but there were only about 5 minutes to go and the Stereophonics hadn't been on yet.
He explained about the Writers strike too but didn't say anything about the future of the show other than it was closed down like every other show in Hollywood. He looked totally fab.
