If Sunderland still signed the colourfully named we'd have him. And Jamie Welcome who came on for Honduras. Hee hee hee. That's our first victory at the finals in 48 years. Go Chile!
In the real competition there was a shock result between Spain (we play beautiful football so we will walk this) and Switzerland (we speak 56 languages so don't mind the vuvuzelas cos we can't understand each other anyway) when Switzerland scored (nice one Casillas) and Spain didn't. Bwah ha ha.
Uruguay looked good beating South Africa with Diego Forlan showing his class and scoring 2. So that was the most entertaining day so far.
Gardening today and a very good day with the weather. The sunset is not as spectacular as last night, but at 10.09 it is still light.
