Good Grief!

I've tried to send pics from my phone to the pc twice and it hasn't worked, which is a pity, because the weather here today has been craaaazy. It's now virtually dark because of the FOG but earlier today it snowed and snowed to the point where school closed at dinnertime. The road was blocked and small children were making snowmen on the knoll outside. Craaaazy I tells ya. It must be raining or milder now - hence the fog.

Anyhoo, a day of solitude again today. Pat popped in after school. She has been to the doctor about a trapped nerve and he gave her strong painkillers that mean alcohol's out which is a bit of a pain as she is off to London with Jude at half term, weather permitting.

We had horrendous fog yesterday and bad ice this morning.

Light snow, sleet and rain was the original forecast, but then the clouds did unexpected things and dumped about 4 inches of wet snow on the region like this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7885962.stm). Wet now though so that'll freeze!
