mistletoeTransfer deadline day has arrived and in keeping with our transfer policy we have signed a player on loan from Manchester City purely on his name: Tal Ben Haim. This makes up for the sale of El Hadj Diouf who had to go after a fight in the dressing room where Anton Ferdinand apparently feared for his life. Diouf was sold the next day.
Disappointingly, we are also after a West Ham player who is only called Calum Davenport. Booooring!
The transfer deadline has been extended beyond 5 o'clock in certain circumstances because of the weather. Sun still out but there have been heavy flurries such as now.
