mistletoeI hope you like that word, I made it up. I waited until this morning to see the evidence for myself and I have to say: WE WUZ ROBBED BAH!!!!! Thus is the way of things when you're not a big name. If Crouch or, God forbid, Alan Shearer had scored that header it would have been a goal. But no, Steve Bennett lived up to expectation and disallowed it. Does he not know we always score in the 93rd minute? Pah. Roy was miffed and I don't blame him.
7 or 8 years ago we got a dodgy penalty against Villa when the referee gave a hand ball with the player's back to him. He chose to believe Niall Quinn's appeal. They say soccer evens itself out. But not 8 years later for God's sake! Bah! (again) Two points stolen by the ref. They could be crucial come the end of the season. As it is we were out of the bottom 3 and, thanks to (spit) the Mags getting a soft penalty in the 92nd minute against Fulham, we stayed out for the moment. Of course, we play Manchester Utd on Boxing Day. Let's hope we raise our game again.
In other news I have finished the quiz thanks to a sekrit squirrel email from a fellow member of the discussion group I joined. It was a chair design of all things that was driving me mad. Anyway, I found it. One of the pictures to identify was of Gillian Anderson. I could hardly recognise her. She looked dreadful.
I see lj has started doing predictive tags. I'm going to be more inventive on that front then.
