[Error: unknown template qotd]I try to stay in the house and stay warm and snuggly. I like to make potato and corned beef hash with sausages, onions and some bacon on top. I drink lots and lots of coffee and hope it doesn't stop me going home for Christmas because it has snowed.

Yes it's a North East England recipeless dish basically made of sliced potatoes and any leftovers or tinned stuff you can find in the pantry like vegetable soup, beans or anything savoury and liquid. You need to put some water in to make it juicy in the bottom. You cook it in the oven in a casserole and take the lid off towards the end to brown and crisp the potatoes on top. It can feed an army. The name is Pan Haggerty or in a local dialect name panackelty. Yummy.
