mistletoe My fellow manager (see icon) is probably wishing he had my skills. Of course I've been managing longer than him. Liam's Chocolate Fireguards consolidated their place at the top of their league and opened a 4 point lead on their nearest rivals by putting in some solid performances over the weekend and careful team selection on my part. I have made some transfers outside of the window by replacing one Brazilian with another and switching my reserve fullback. Let's hope I haven't twitched too soon.
It is no joy to me that one of my players scored against the lads this week but money speaks louder than loyalty when it comes to football. It's a man's game all right.
I've spent most of today typing up a report of my gallivanting to Newcastle on a course last Wednesday. They only plus was a free lunch.
Nothing else of note to report except I watched Bones when I got home and found it refreshingly enjoyable, particularly as DB was astonishingly even more hot than ever before. Did he make no film this summer? That's what he usually does. I expect appearing off Broadway was all he managed. Good enough for me.
We are having trouble finding a suitable package for American adventure but if we build it we will come.
