Brilliant!

Someone has waited until tonight to let off their fireworks. Good move I would say as the November fog finally did arrive mid-week and so Bonfire Night was a bit of a damp squib. (sorry!) They're popping away outside my window now.

A good day today. I was out at a meeting all day with a bunch of other English teachers which was a great laugh. Plus we were at the Riverside County Cricket Ground in Chester-le-Street where the catering was excellent: coffee and Danish pastries on arrival; coffee and home made biscuits at 11.30; 3 hot choices or ham and mixed salads and clafoutis or fresh fruit salad for lunch at 12.45; coffee and muffins for after. There were only nine of us so there was tons left. Anyway, the marking I did in 10 minutes before half term was right. Told you we were good. Home by 3.40 via Tesco's and then a not too bad trip to the dentist where she found a tiny little cavity at the last tooth. Hmph! Back there on December 1st then.

I have solved the NaBloPoMo problem for tomorrow when I am in the Lakes: post after midnight tonight. Obvious really, don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. We'll be home Sunday afternoon and I can update then. Ta daa. Now I have to solve next Friday's post because it's Tosca night. Will have to do the same probably.

What else?  Oooh the daily word. Let's see. Love it! I just looked at the word and I don't care what it means. I don't think I'm going to tell you what it means; I shall let you guess, or even use it as you see fit. This could be like the old word game on telly, Call My Bluff.
