meanwhile....
Dec. 14th, 2007 08:33 pmI just watched the rest of Geaham Norton. Hahahahahaha! And I don't even watch the X Factor so I base my knowledge of Simon Cowell on Shrek 2. David was hilariously convincing as the sleaze, even fondling the Aussie guy. Who said he wasn't a method actor. May watch the uncut version just in case there's more swearing. God bless British television!
In other news - bloody freezing. In fact 28 degrees all day with frost never lifting and freezing fog by teatime. I came home and had a bacon sandwich.

ok now I'm pissed
Dec. 14th, 2007 11:11 pmThis is my 6th attempt to post this. Here's another advert, this time for a popular British soft drink called Irn Bru (that's Scottish for Iron Brew that used to be advertised with the tag Made in Scotland from girders.)
The advert is a spoof on a song called Walking in the Air which featured in a funny and moving cartoon version of Raymond Briggs' picture book The Snowman.
I think it's funny. The pair fly over Scottish landmarks, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Ness (watch out for Nessy) among others.
Here's something.
Ah a winner at last.
Where's
I see it's been snowing in parts of America. I miss it. The snow that is. I hope it's not still snowy in Boston in April 'cos that's when we're going. Squeee!
Now, hopefully, this won't just show up as a subject line and tags. Bah threatens.
The original subject was Random. You can tell it's Friday, but now it's nearly Saturday.

I just managed to get the damn thing to post and the advert came on the telly. I didn't dare go back into the post to edit it as that was the cause of my previous failures. So here's a pointless post.
Oh and at the bottom of the advert thing you can see the original cartoon to see what it was really like. They have shown it annually on Channel 4 since it first started broadcasting. In those days they didn't have enough advertisers to fill the commercial breaks. Ironic eh?
