In other news:

• bathroom is finished apart from flooring. I will attempt first shower when I've finished this. Eeeeeh!
• birthday dinner last night was excellent; the company and conversation was mellow and adult. I enjoyed every minute. The newspaper front page went down really well.
• sinus headache which dogged me all day yesterday went away of its own accord.
• I have re-arranged my room at work into group seating. My tutor group really liked it.
• the bathroom fitter has put my mirror somewhere safe and I can't find it.
• another victory at the quiz thanks to remembering when cigarette advertising was banned on telly and who sang 'As time goes by'.
