I didn't know that about Cinderella (or forgot it) so that would go some way to explain why Brennan went round to Booth's place for a drink rather than the usual bar scene - more intimate.
At the time I disliked Double Death but if you take it as an isolated episode with no context it is really very funny. There are some great one liners - "King of the Funeral" - and TJ Thyne was absolutely brilliant. I laughed out loud several times reading the transcript.
