Out and About

mistletoeDecent weather at last so it''s in the car for a couple of jaunts. On Saturday parents and I went off to Skipton, a notoriously difficult place to park, to visit the market. Now some people have amazing abilities. Mine is to find car parking spaces and I started sending vibes on Friday night. Needless to say when we arrived at the car park a couple arrived at their car just as we drove up the alley and drove off. We drove into the space, THE ONLY ONE AVAILABLE. Ha ha. Quite a jolly day.
Today it was Whitby where dad insisted on trying the Marina car park. I had my doubts I could pull this one off so I didn't succeed. We had to go all the way back to West Cliff where there was plenty of room. Obviously I overdid it there. We also got seats at the not so exc lusive Spanky's chipy (sic) where the fish and chips were delicious and far cheaper than the more famous Magpie cafe. I feel all sunburnt too. We were all knackered when we got back to the car but I've had a reviving curd tart and feel much better.
