He's taken Rooney off with 20 minutes to go and put Joe Cole on. Slovenia are quite impressive on the break; Barry and Lampard are having a mare and I wish it was all over. The tension is worse then when Sunderland have to win to avoid relegation, because this is MY COUNTRY. Dear me 75 minutes gone.

THAT WAS THE LONGEST 5 MINUTES OF MY LIFE. REALLY WE HAVE PLAYED USA, ALGERIA AND SLOVENIA AT FOOTBALL FOR FUCK'S SAKE AND WE HAVE STRUGGLED IN EVERY GAME. THIS DOES NOT PAPER OVER THE CRACKS. CAPELLO LOOKS APOPLECTIC ON THE SIDELINE EVEN WITH THE CHOSEN ONE (HESKEY) NOW ON. DEFOE FADED A BIT BUT HE DID THE VITAL THING AND SCORED. ROONEY NEEDS A REST. HE MISSED AN OPEN GOAL AND WAS A YARD SHORT OF PACE. WE ARE THROUGH BUT THAT IS ALL YOU CAN SAY. WHAT A SHAMBLES.
