So I watched the first episode of Moonlight last night and while it didn't totally suck it was too derivative to make me want to set the Series Link to record every episode.

Which brings me to this weekend's word which sounds better then it is :slocket : to commit a petty theft; to pilfer. Hey that fits. Moonlight slocketed the vampire telly genre.

Another defeat today slightly lightened by Man Utd thumping the Mags 5 - 1 at St James Park. However, Arsenal's  Brazilian Croatian Eduardo had the three bones in his lower leg, ankle, tibia and fibula, broken by a poor tackle and may never play again. The manager, Arsene Wenger went cracker dog . Bit OTT there; as he later realised but the lad didn't commit murder and Arsenal are by no means guilt free in that department viz three players' attempts to cripple Nani last week. Still, broken legs are never nice. I remember hearing the late Graham Paddon's leg snap when he played for Norwich City and it was very unpleasant.

Quiet shopping today although the strong winds nearly blew us away.
