What a faff

What a carry on. More by accident than design I have managed to do this with scrapbook. I'll probably forget how I did it.
So I'll try another.

And finally cos I think I've got it cracked.

Tomorrow is a filmathon at Joani's. You have to take your favourite musical in a plain brown wrapper and we all have to guess who brought the film. Now I quite like some musicals of the old school - 7 Brides, The Band Wagon, White Christmas but I don't have any of them. So I've had to make do with On The Town that happened to be on TCM2 last week. Not a fave as I'm not a Leonard Bernstein fan, but I like the Ann Miller routine at the museum. She can dance better than Gene Kelly - and sing, so that will have to do. I tried Silk Stockings as I love Cole Porter but what a dire film! So that went by the board.

It is very cold here, sub-zero with thick frosts. Let's hope it doesn't snow tomorrow. Will I never be satisfied?

In other news an old friend who I used to go to football matches with died in his sleep last week. He wasn't 50. We went to Wembley to see the play off against Charlton with Trev and I'll never forget how nervous he was in an underpass when we walked back to the hotel after supper the night before the match. He was a big bloke but always expected the worst. very sad.

I finished Year 9 reports on Sunday.

We aren't at the quiz cos Pat has a cold and is saving herself for tomorrow and the other two couldn't go.
I didn't get all the quizmail right - surprise- I got 4 wrong including one of the boxers who I'd never heard of. Trying again this month.
