Bah - again

Well, there's the FA cup over for another year. What a disappointment. Managed to ignore the game all afternoon by going to the shops. Got little but some pens and a 50th birthday card for Sue. The present I ordered on the Internet arrived on Wednesday which was the day after the firm re-opened after the holiday. It turns out the company is in Stanhope which is about 10 miles from where I live. It is a small world. The gift is a newspaper front page mock up describing her success as Teacher of the Year beating off rivals such as Ronaldinho's PE teacher and Robbie Williams music teacher. Well deserved then.

Spent yesterday stripping wallpaper off the bathroom so it's now all echoey and weird. Hopefully the man is coming next week although the long term weather forecast does not bode well. I seem to be obsessed with the weather at the moment, but it is too weird. On Tuesday tea time I heard twittering: the bloody starlings were building their nest in my roof! Anyway forecasters predict either an Atlantic storm covering the whole of England and Wales with torrential rain and 80mph gales (tornadoes possible) or an Arctic blast with 6inches of snow if the storm drifts further south. I'll take the snow - less chance of structural damage and I can still walk to work.

My teeth have still not recovered. I will have to get some sensitive teeth toothpaste now. Nothing but expense!
Still at least they're all mine and don't come out at night.

Also, when I got up yesterday the moon was still out and it was FULL. That explains it: the moods I mean. Thank heavens for that. On with the quiz now.
