Here! I took a picture of myself this morning that turned out clearer than my calendar pics. I am putting it under a cut to spare the squeamish. I resemble something from the Black Death or 1665, The Plague year. Anyway, believe it or not, it is not very painful, just itchy. I had 10 hours sleep yesterday which may account for my ability to go to Tesco today and talk to people I knew that I met there. I disguised the lump with my Thinsulate hat well pulled down. Couldn't see a thing. I also ate lunch when I got home! Small steps.

Here it is:

And for [livejournal.com profile] huronia a reminder of her own medical condition.

Good players on this - Bix Beiderbeck, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Bud Freeman and Gene Krupa with Hoagy Carmichael in charge.

No, just feels itchy like dry skin and the ointment is good for that. Also put E45 on this morning and that was really good.

I am waiting to hear from the hospital now. *twiddles thumbs*

Crikey - poor you! Well at least the pain has subsided - keep that cream up! That's one hell of a lump, though. Try thinking unicorns and rainbows instead of the plague?? Good luck, hon. I hope it settles right down soon.

Oh my, that is a thing to behold. I will be waiting to hear what the docs will do with this.

LOL and thanks for hunting that up! My dad was a huge Benny Goodman fan. I'm so tapping my feet right now.

It's the clean version too. Also, no need for docs; the bugger exploded 10 minutes ago without any help from anyone. Grossness ensues.

Had the BBC been looking for extras for a costume drama about Pepys they would have struck gold had they found you on your Tesco run today!

Unpacking your groceries must gave been interesting, considering you didn't see a thing at the supermarket ;)

Albeit small I'm happy to hear steps are in in the right direction.

Yes, I realised too late the ambiguity of that statement. Could see nothing of the pustules, though eyes were cleared or I may have been mistaken for a robber! Still things have cleared a little now that I have a giant bandage to hide the grossness
