THEY ARE!
I have very quickly developed a habit of referring to Brennan as Booth's wife, and to Booth as Brennan's husband. That scene on the couch where Brennan said she'd make everyone go over all the evidence and they're catch her killer - when I was watching it I said 'Aww she's such a good wife - wait, what?'
I have to keep reminding myself that they're not actually married!
