This is the day
So, he's in, The House I mean, and so am I, my house I mean, for the next 6 weeks as I fell down the stairs on Thursday and broke my ankle. Got back from hospital yesterday and I am more than glad to do so. What a depressing place an NHS hospital ward is. Still we shall not dwell on the past. This is a new beginning and our eyes are firmly fixed on the horizon where new hope dawns.
Meanwhile I must hobble back to my chair with my zimmer frame ready for Pat's arrival.

Friends and parents have been coming round to cook and keep me company during the day, so the evenings can be long. But anything new is extremely welcome.

I am delightfully cheerful you'll be glad to hear and living a vicarious and sybaritic life. It feels like I want to be retired. (Without the cast and the hopping of course)
