 Sunderland 2 Wigan 0. Played poorly apparently but another clean sheet at home helps our poor goal difference and 2 good goals means we are only 2 points behind Newcastle. (1 - 4 to Aston Villa). Keane-o was suitably magnanamous in victory and I shall watch it later this evening after the Spanish game.

So today's word is all the sweeter: applaudity - clapping of hands for joy.

Shopping on a nice balmy day. New coat from the Sunderland AFC shop to replace the one attacked by my mother's letter-box; new colourful socks from TK Maxx, so shopping for holiday wear is going well.
