Hardly dare say it but I'm on holiday for a week. What a stop start year this has been. Anyway I shall not be sitting idly around. There is the usual I'm in so I must do the domestic stuff, plus treats. viz.:
Speaking of exams, the English Literature GCSE was this week and you couldn't have asked for better questions. I hope the students thought so too.
Have a word. Bit of a dearth for weeks but I'll share one.
From Lancashire dontlement: Holiday dress, fine clothes. I am currently wearing my Top of the Rock tee shirt and green jeans. That's close enough.
So Manchester United won the Champions League final. Meh. Couldn't really get excited although I felt sorry for John Terry when he slipped taking his penalty. He cried like a baby.

- farewell tea and scones at Lumley Castle for our pregnant colleague
