I'm sure it was so nice to be able to get out for the day! And dinner sounds delicious! It's been so cold here (for my standards at least) and the thought of hot soup sounds absolutely delicious. I got it in my head a few days ago to make chili, but have none of the ingredients besides bell pepper and didn't feel like trekking out to the store.
We actually got a bit of snow here-- nothing at all like what y'all have been dealing with-- but the inch of snow and ice on the ground was enough to shut us down here for a few days. We're supposed to finally go above the freezing mark on Thursday-- woo!!
